2009 Yellowfin 42 Offshore

The 2009 Yellowfin 42 Offshore is a 42-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull. Power comes from four Mercury 400 V10 engines producing 1,600 horsepower in total, with approximately 100 hours on them and manufacturer warranty coverage. The boat has been updated in recent years with fresh electronics, new upholstery and soft goods, and a 2024 triple-axle Fastload trailer.

Electronics include four Simrad chart plotters—one NSO 19 EVO3s, two NSS 12 EVO3 units, and one GO9 XSE—paired with a Simrad Halo-048 A open array radar and AP44 autopilot display. An ICOM VHF radio system and JL Audio stereo setup with multiple speakers throughout the helm, hard top, and forward lounge round out the entertainment and communication suite. LED lighting is installed at the hard top, spreaders, under gunnel, and underwater.

The cabin houses a head with shower, air conditioning via Dometic Marine Air Systems, fresh and salt water wash-down pumps, and both 120VAC and 12VDC switch panels. A Fletcher Panda diesel generator provides power, with shore power inlet and switchover capability. The boat holds four Deka Marine Master AGM deep-cycle batteries and two heavy-duty units. Fishing features include 39 rod holders distributed across the gunnel, transom, hard top, and forward helm lounge seat, plus two Hooker livewell pumps, a transom livewell with seat, six in-deck fish boxes, under gunnel storage, and an aft helm seat with flip-up filet table. The forward lounge seats convert with a retractable table and filler cushion.
