The 2010 Bavaria Cruiser 55 is a 55-foot fiberglass sailing yacht powered by a 110-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine. Built for comfortable cruising, she combines solid construction with modern systems and equipment for extended passages and coastal exploration.
The boat sleeps five in dedicated cabins and includes a full galley, hot water system with shower, and a Webasto diesel heater for cooler climates. A refrigerated storage cell keeps provisions fresh. The interior radio with loudspeakers provides entertainment while at anchor or underway.
The sail plan features a furling main and furling genoa managed by a Furlex system, paired with a bow thruster for maneuvering in tight quarters. Navigation is supported by VHF radio with DSC, a chartplotter, echo sounder, log, wind instruments, radar, and autopilot. Safety gear includes an emergency tiller, life-saving collar with line, radar reflector, manual and electric bilge pumps, and fire extinguishers. Ground tackle consists of a zinc-coated plough anchor with chain and rope, managed by an electric windlass. The boat accommodates 220-volt shore power with charger and adapters, mooring lines, fenders, and a sprayhood.
Recent upgrades include a new rig, new sails, and a new sprayhood, all dated 2026.
