This 2010 Beneteau Oceanis 46 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built for extended offshore passage-making and comfortable liveaboard use. At 47 feet in length with a 13.75-foot beam, the hull was constructed using fiberglass and resin. Power comes from a Yanmar 4JH4-TE 55 hp diesel engine with an isolation-mounted installation, paired with a ZF marine transmission and dripless shaft seal. The engine has only 370 hours of running time. A Cummins-Onan 6.5 kW generator is also aboard, though it requires a replacement part not yet installed.
The yacht features three double cabins throughout the interior, each with closet storage. The galley includes a three-burner propane cooktop with oven, a Haier microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and double stainless steel sink. Two heads are fitted with Jabsco electric toilets and showers. Additional spaces include an entertainment area with a 31-inch RCA television and Sony DVD player, plus extensive storage lockers. The boat has an 18,000 BTU Crusair air conditioning unit serving the main accommodations.
The electrical and mechanical systems have been recently upgraded. House batteries—four 4D-MF 1350 Amp units totaling 240-minute capacity—were replaced in December 2023. Four 185-watt solar panels with an MPPT charge controller provide renewable charging. A Xantrex inverter and 40+ battery charger round out the power infrastructure. Navigation and communications are modern, with a new 12-inch Raymarine display installed December 2023, alongside Raymarine autopilot, radar, wind and depth instruments, and an Icom VHF radio. The mast is anodized aluminum with two Neil Pryde sails from 2018, electric Lewmar winches, and a Forestay Pro roller furler.
Standard cruising equipment includes a 50-pound Delta anchor with 175 feet of chain, dual 30-amp shore power connections, a 9-foot inflatable dinghy with 6 hp electric outboard, liferaft for six persons, and comprehensive safety and spare-parts collections.
