This 2010 Broadblue 385 is a 38-foot fibreglass catamaran built in Poland, designed for cruising and coastal sailing. The hull and overall structure are sound. Twin Yanmar 30 HP diesel engines and SD 25 sail drives were both installed new in 2024, each with low running hours. The boat is equipped with twin berth cabins, two additional single bunks amidship, and a saloon table that converts to a large bunk, along with two heads and two showers. A 300-litre fridge, watermaker, and comprehensive galley setup support extended cruising.
The electrical system runs on 12/220V power with 560 amp-hour lithium house batteries and a 2kW Honda generator. Solar panels totalling approximately 2000 watts provide charging capacity. Navigation equipment includes a Raymarine chart plotter with 12-inch touchscreen, VHF radio, AIS, radar, and depth/speed/wind instruments. A Raymarine autopilot is fitted. Life safety gear includes a life raft certified for six persons (new in 2023), EPIRB, life jackets, and flares.
The sails consist of a 2023 mainsail and 2016 headsail, with original mast and rigging. Deck equipment includes 90 metres of anchor chain and three electric winches. A 5 HP outboard tender completes the package. Fuel capacity is 380 litres across twin tanks, with water storage of 800 litres total. The boat carries some navigation and safety electronics that will benefit from attention; fire protection and flare systems require updating, and several solar panels could be replaced.
