This 2010 Fountaine Pajot Mahe 36 Evolution is a cruising catamaran built for extended passage-making and island exploration. Designed by Joubert/Nivelt, the hull form emphasizes efficient sailing with narrow waterlines that deliver good speed and weatherliness, while flared topsides provide the volume and stability expected in a live-aboard cruiser. Twin 30-hp Volvo diesel engines provide auxiliary power, and the shallow 3.5-foot draft makes her well-suited to the Intracoastal Waterway and Caribbean anchorages.
The three-cabin, one-head layout is divided across both hulls: a dedicated owner's cabin to starboard with a queen berth and substantial storage, plus two guest cabins to port. The salon is open and bright, flowing directly to the cockpit through large sliding glass doors. A hardtop with full enclosure extends the usable deck space across seasons, and the galley is arranged for extended cruising.
Recent upgrades include twin Volvo engines, standing rigging under five years old, updated ground tackle and windlass, and a newer headsail. Solar panels feed a 300 amp-hour lithium battery bank, and navigation electronics have been updated.
