The 2010 Princess V78 is a 78-foot express yacht powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines delivering 3,650 horsepower combined. Built from fiberglass with an 18.5-foot beam, she represents one of the largest and widest-bodied express yachts in her class, engineered for both comfortable cruising and strong performance.
The layout includes five cabins and four heads, accommodating eight guests across four en suite staterooms plus a fifth cabin suitable for crew or additional guests. The main deck features a full saloon with electric opening roof and full-length windows, port-side sofa seating, a dining area, and a dedicated wet bar. Forward, the cockpit is configurable and accessible from the hydraulic bathing platform between twin sunbeds. The foredeck has additional seating and a large sunpad. Below, all cabins benefit from natural light through generous hull windows.
Significant recent work includes new 9/16-inch thick teak decks installed in 2019, a complete bottom job with Teflon VC offshore paint, and helm and co-helm chair reupholstery. A new port-side Caterpillar long block was recently installed with warranty coverage. Navigation and safety systems include twin Furuno TZ Touch Screen chartplotters with HD radar, a Flir camera, and Yacht Controller. The single 27-kilowatt Onan generator has logged 6,510 hours with major Onan dealer maintenance performed at 5,675 hours, including new heat exchanger and system components plus new sound panel insulation. Additional upgrades include new Veem propellers and a new Eplex system installed in winter 2021/2022. All saloon carpets have been replaced. The aft platform incorporates a garage and integrated tender launch system.
