2010 Ranger Tugs R-25

The 2010 Ranger Tugs R-25 is a 25-foot diesel trawler built on a fiberglass hull with a single 150-horsepower Yanmar engine. The boat cruises at 10 knots with a maximum speed of 14 knots, powered by a 75-gallon fuel capacity. At 8.5 feet of beam, this is a compact cruiser suited to narrow waterways and trailering. The design includes bow and stern thrusters for precise maneuvering and trim tabs for performance adjustment.

The single-cabin interior combines a forward V-berth with a multipurpose salon that serves as both dining and sleeping space, thanks to convertible settees. Teak joinerwork lines the cabin sole and surfaces throughout. The salon includes the helm station to port, with the galley opposite to starboard featuring a stainless steel sink, Nova Kool refrigerator, and Wallas diesel heater. Four overhead hatches and multiple opening windows keep the space light and airy. An enclosed head aft offers shower facilities with a fiberglass pan. Storage is plentiful with hanging lockers and bins throughout.

Navigation and entertainment systems include a Garmin 24-inch radar chartplotter, GHC 10 multifunction display, and VHF radio. A Clarion stereo with CD player and four speakers provides audio throughout. The electrical system runs on two house AGM batteries plus a thruster battery, with a new Xantrex inverter/charger installed in 2025 and 30-amp shorepower capability. An electric windlass with remote control manages the 100 feet of chain and 100 feet of rope anchor rode.

Deck equipment includes a bimini cover with side panels, 25-inch swim platform with stainless steel steps, dinghy mounts, and an included 8-foot tender with 2-horsepower Honda outboard. Recent updates include new teak decking on the cockpit sole in 2025. The boat comes with a tandem-axle trailer for transport.
