The 2010 Vicem 64 Classic is a Downeast-style motor yacht built using Vicem's cold-molded mahogany construction method—a triple-plank epoxy-encapsulated process with fiberglass layers that delivers a lightweight hull with excellent sea-keeping qualities. Twin MAN diesel engines rated at 1,800 horsepower provide a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 27 knots. The semi-displacement hull offers smooth, responsive handling across varying sea conditions.
The interior features three staterooms and two heads laid out with the galley on the lower deck, opening the main salon to full-beam views. The master suite spans the full beam forward and includes a queen berth, multiple hanging lockers, vanity, and an ensuite head with a large shower. Two guest cabins offer additional sleeping quarters. Throughout, handcrafted mahogany joinery with high-gloss finishes defines the spaces. The salon holds port and starboard sofas, a mahogany high-low table, and extensive cabinetry. The galley is equipped with granite countertops, an Isotherm refrigerator and freezer, Bosch cooktop, Gaggenau oven, dishwasher, and washer-dryer combo.
The aft deck provides L-shaped settees, a mahogany table, lounge seating, and a refrigerator. A hydraulic swim platform with remote control eases tender operations. The helm features a Raymarine electronics package, bow and stern thrusters, and wireless remote control. An Onan 21.5KW generator and Reverso oil change system support extended cruising.
Recent work completed in 2023 and 2024 includes 1,000 hours of engine service, generator servicing, turbocharger rebuild, trim tab actuator replacement, new exhaust elbow, propeller replacement with new zincs, and bottom sanding. Interior updates comprise new window treatments, bedding, main salon sofa upholstery, custom rugs, helm chair upholstery, and new cockpit cushions. Exterior finishing includes five coats of high-gloss varnish on all woodwork, teak deck sanding and oil treatment, and new underwater lights.
