This 2010 Viking 64 Sportfish Convertible is a serious offshore fishing platform built on a fiberglass hull measuring 64 feet with a 19-foot beam. Twin MTU 12V2000 diesel engines deliver 4,000 total horsepower, pushing the boat to 28 knots top speed with a cruising speed of 38 knots. The yacht carries 1,950 gallons of fuel and is equipped with twin Onan Cummins generators and reverse osmosis desalination for extended range.
The interior spans four cabins and three heads. The master stateroom features an island berth, extensive storage, and entertainment systems including a 42-inch Sony TV and Bose surround sound. Two guest cabins serve additional crew or passengers. The saloon features an L-shaped leather sofa with storage, new carpeting throughout, and large aft windows. The galley includes granite countertops, dual Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers, a four-burner Kenyon cooktop, and substantial cabinet space. An on-deck washer and dryer are installed in the companionway.
The fishing setup is comprehensive. The cockpit includes a swim platform, live well, ice chipper, fish boxes with macerator pumps, and tackle storage. A Pipe Welder tuna tower crowns the structure with multiple rocket launchers and outriggers. The flybridge carries twin Release Marine captain chairs, eight rocket launchers, electric teaser reels, and extensive electronics: three Garmin screens, a Garmin autopilot, two VHF radios, and a Clarion radio. A bow thruster aids maneuvering.
Recent updates include new upholstery throughout in Ultra Leather (August 2023), a newly refreshed port engine under factory warranty, and a starboard engine refresh including head work and upper rebuilds. New carpet throughout the interior, Garmin electronics, Simrad autopilot, and zinc plates for corrosion protection complete the outfit.
