The Alibi 54 is a semi-custom performance catamaran built in Thailand to a French design, combining the acceleration and handling of a sports car with spacious family cruising accommodations. At under 12 tons, she features dual asymmetric push-button daggerboards, an all-carbon rotating mast, and a design philosophy rooted in high-speed sailing while maintaining refinement across all sea states. The hull is composite construction powered by twin Volvo D2-50F diesel engines of 50 horsepower each with electronic throttle controls at both helms, both engines fitted new in 2022 and running low hours.
The interior layout provides three cabins and three heads for comfortable cruising. Climate control throughout includes both air conditioning and heating. Power generation comes from a Fisher Panda 15kW generator, while a 960Ah lithium house battery bank handles hotel loads. Freshwater is produced by an onboard watermaker, supporting extended passages without resupply.
Sails include a North 3DI Endurance main and jib, gennaker, code 0, and two spinnakers. The rigging is kevlar throughout. Navigation and communication systems feature new Furuno and Maretron electronics.
The boat has undergone significant recent investment by its current owner. From 2024 through 2026, she completed an extensive refit including a full deck and topside repaint, complete mast service and electrical rewire, and comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration. The electrical system was modernized with the lithium battery installation in 2022. Larger under-hung rudders were fitted to replace the original lifting cassette design. The yacht has been sailed privately throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas, and US East Coast, never chartered.
