This 2011 Catana 47 is a composite catamaran built for extended offshore cruising. The hull spans 46 feet in length with a 25-foot beam, providing the dual-hull stability and spacious deck layout characteristic of the model. Power comes from two Volvo D2 diesel engines of 50 horsepower each, fitted in 2021 with 900 operating hours and completed overhaul in 2025. Fuel capacity is 400 liters.
The accommodations comprise four double cabins and two forward cabins. There are three bathrooms with electric fresh-water toilets and one seawater toilet, all upgraded in 2021. The galley features a Franke sink, ENO Force 10 oven, three-burner cooktop, Corian countertop, microwave, and dual Liebherr refrigerators (one combined fridge-freezer). Cabin upholstery was renewed in 2018, with ventilation fans throughout.
The sail plan includes a 2023 Hydranet mainsail of 86 square meters on a 2018 Maréchal mast, a 2021 Hydranet jib of 53 square meters on a Facnor LS290 roller furler, a 90-square-meter gennaker on a Facnor LS200, and a 2018 spinnaker. Five winches are installed, with electric capability on one 50-ton model. Lazy bag and lazy jack systems date to 2021. The boom, bowsprit, and standing rigging were refinished in 2018, with running rigging updated in 2018 and 2021.
Electronics include Furuno navigation systems (NavPilot autopilot, NavNet 3D chartplotter, radar, and digital wind/depth instruments), a Garmin GPSMAP chartplotter, ICOM VHF, Iridium and DMR 800 communication systems, and multiple display screens. The electrical system features dual 110-amp engine batteries from 2023–2024, a 900-amp gel service battery bank from 2021, seven solar panels (four 80W and three 305W units from 2021), Victron charge controllers and inverters, and a 120-amp charger. Water systems include a 60-liter desalinator with 2025 membrane replacement, two 75-liter hot-water tanks, and a 670-liter fresh-water reservoir. An auxiliary generator and comprehensive safety equipment are aboard, along with a 3.3-meter semi-rigid tender and 9-horsepower outboard from 2021.
