The 242 is designed around practical, open-water use. The boat features wide bow walkthrough doors, a laddered swim platform, and abundant storage throughout. The bow includes an optional dinette table for extended time on the water. Onboard amenities include adjustable backrests, insulated ice chests, removable ski pylons with cylinder-assist lifting, and chair pockets integrated into the seating.

The boat has been stored carefully—kept in a covered slip during warm months on a lift, then moved to enclosed storage over winter. A custom full boat cover with zippered enclosure provides weather protection when the boat is on the lift. A custom-built boat trailer is included.
