The 2011 Cobalt 296 is a 30-foot runabout built on a black Kevlar-reinforced fiberglass hull. Twin 8.1L Volvo Penta engines produce 750 horsepower, delivering a maximum speed of 48 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots. The boat has logged fewer than 500 hours.

The helm features a double-wide design with reversible backrests that convert the companion seat into an aft-facing recliner. The interior showcases textured vinyl upholstery, a sporty woodgrain dash, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. An enclosed head with sink and porta-potty sits behind the port glove box, serving as both a changing room and convenience facility. Two aft sun pads lift to provide easy access to the engines, and a removable cockpit dinette table accommodates social gatherings on either the forward bow or aft bench seating area.

Navigation and entertainment are handled by a Garmin GPSmap 620 chartplotter and a Pioneer head unit with Bluetooth, Spotify, Pandora, and auxiliary input, backed by six component speakers. The boat carries quad batteries, features Livorsi engine controls, and includes an Isotherm refrigerator. A power engine hatch and adjustable bimini top with stainless stanchions complete the setup, with stainless steel switches throughout adding to the finish.
