2011 Dufour 405 GL

The Dufour 405 GL is a refined cruising yacht from 2011, designed by Umberto Felci with a proven track record for offshore performance. At nearly 40 feet with a beam of 13 feet, she combines a powerful yet well-balanced sail plan with responsive helm characteristics and an efficient 40 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine. Her tall 9/10 fractional rig, 1.8-meter fin keel, and folding propeller are matched by practical deck features including retractable bow thruster and all running lines led aft—a setup that supports both short-handed and solo sailing with genuine ease.

Below decks, the yacht offers four cabins and two heads laid out for genuine comfort on extended passages. Storage is generous, and the accommodation is warm and livable, with good ergonomics for cruising life. Current systems include a 120-liter watermaker, solar and wind generators, reversible air conditioning and Webasto diesel heating, and a substantial house battery bank.
