The 2011 Formula 270 Bowrider is a 27-foot fiberglass runabout built with a deep vee hull design. Powered by a single Mercruiser 8.2 MAG EC B3 X engine producing 380 horsepower, it delivers solid performance for day outings and water sports. The boat features a head with holding tank and pumpout capacity, along with a demand water system.
The cockpit is thoughtfully appointed with a Livorsi illuminated instrument package, a Ritchie compass, and digital depth sounder. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo system with multiple speakers, iPod/MP3 capability, and dual remotes provides entertainment. Control is via side-mount shift and throttle with a burl-accented Dino tilt steering wheel. Seating includes an L-shaped aft lounge with an integrated cooler, a removable cockpit table, and an aft-facing sun lounge that converts to a full-length sunpad. Fifteen polished stainless steel drink holders are distributed throughout.
The bow features custom seating with backrest and filler cushions. An extended swim platform with concealed stainless steel ladder and pull-up cleats facilitates water entry. Standard Smartcraft gauges, Bennett trim tabs, a motorized hatch lift, a Garmin 536 color GPS navigation system, and a stainless steel sport arch with ski pylon round out the equipped package. The boat comes with a black Bimini top, color-coordinated Sunbrella covers for the cockpit and bow, and in-floor storage for water sports gear.
Additional features include thru-bolted deck-to-hull construction with foam-filled cavities, a polished stainless steel windshield frame, galvanic corrosion protection, automatic bilge pump, and an automatic fire extinguisher. An extra battery with switch and cockpit subwoofer are also included.
