2011 Formula 400 Super Sport

The 2011 Formula 400 Super Sport is a 40-foot sport cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with an 11-foot beam. Twin Volvo diesel engines produce 740 horsepower and deliver a cruising speed of 30 mph while consuming just 19 gallons per hour combined, making this a fuel-efficient platform for extended cruising.

The interior includes a single cabin with one head, providing comfortable overnight accommodations. The Formula's design balances the wide beam and high freeboard typical of the brand's cruiser lineup with handling characteristics suitable for open-water conditions.

This boat has operated exclusively in Great Lakes freshwater throughout its 14 years, avoiding the corrosive effects of salt water. The hull has never required bottom paint and retains its original, unmarked gelcoat. When not in use, the boat is stored in a climate-controlled building, protecting it from UV exposure, weather, and temperature fluctuations that typically accelerate deterioration.

A custom-built trailer engineered specifically for this hull is included. The trailer was designed to properly support and transport the boat while simplifying launching and recovery.
