The 2011 Fountaine Pajot Lipari 41 is a 41-foot fiberglass catamaran designed for serious cruising. With a 22-foot beam, the hull delivers the kind of interior volume and stability expected from the Fountaine Pajot name. Twin 60 hp Volvo diesel engines power the boat, with the port engine at 595 hours and starboard at 601 hours, both replaced under warranty in 2019.
The layout accommodates four cabins and two heads, providing comfortable space for extended cruising or living aboard. The boat carries comprehensive cruising electronics including a Raymarine eS98 9-inch multifunction display, Quantum radar, down vision sonar, and class B AIS. Navigation and communication systems include a Uniden UM435 VHF radio. A watermaker produces 60 liters daily, supporting independent cruising.
Power systems have been upgraded substantially. LiFePO4 batteries (600 amp-hours) support the onboard systems alongside a NexGen 5.5 kW generator and solar charge controller. Air conditioning includes a Webasto unit and a dedicated 9,000 BTU high-efficiency system in the port cabin. The galley features a propane oven conversion and a Magma propane grill. Water heating runs on 120V, with full AC outlet distribution throughout.
In December 2018, the hull underwent complete refurbishment at the Polypat St. Martin yard by Fountaine Pajot, including gel coat stripping and two layers of reinforcing fiberglass bonded with epoxy, finished with a new epoxy barrier coat. An AB Inflatable tender with aluminum hull and 9.8 hp Tohatsu outboard is included with the boat.
