This 2011 Lagoon 450 F is a 46-foot composite catamaran powered by two reconditioned Yammer 54 HP diesel engines. Built for long-distance cruising, the boat received a comprehensive professional refit between 2024 and 2025 focused on reliability and autonomous bluewater operation. The scope of work included hull restoration with epoxy barrier coats, replacement of through-hulls and structural reinforcement, new standing rigging, and reconditioned engines with under 100 hours of running time.
The accommodation layout offers four cabins and four heads. The boat is equipped extensively for extended offshore passage-making: a 2,160 Wc solar array with three MPPT controllers, a 1,320 Ah Victron AGM battery bank, a 400W Silentwind wind generator, and a Victron Quattro 3000W inverter with Cerbo GX monitoring. Navigation systems include dual Raymarine autopilots, two Axiom multifunction displays, Quantum radar, AIS, VHF, and Starlink satellite internet.
The deck and systems have been similarly upgraded. A custom stainless steel arch supports the solar panels and wind generator. Ground tackle comprises a 32 kg Lewmar Epsilon anchor with 80 meters of 12 mm chain, paired with a serviced windlass and remote control. A 3.6-meter Highfield tender with Suzuki 25 HP outboard is included. Interior comfort features include LED lighting throughout, refrigeration, freezer, oven, washing machine, and updated upholstery. New trampolines were installed on the bridging deck.
