This 2011 Lagoon 500 catamaran is a three-cabin owner's version that has undergone substantial upgrade and refit work from 2019 through 2025. The boat measures just over 51 feet in length with a nearly 28-foot beam, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 75 horsepower each. The hull is fiberglass, and the boat carries water capacity across two 480-liter tanks, fuel across four 240-liter tanks, and waste across three 110-liter tanks plus two 25-liter grey water tanks.
The sailing inventory includes a 92-square-meter full-batten mainsail with three reefs and lazy bag (2019), a 62-square-meter genoa in dacron (2019), and a Facnor furling system. Hard rigging was replaced in October 2018. A hard bimini top and 800 watts of solar panels provide shade and power. The boat is equipped with twin Raymarine 12-inch multifunction displays, a third 7-inch Raymarine display, dual Smartpilot 600 hydraulic autopilots, Raymarine radar with AIS overlay, VHF radio with DSC capability, Starlink antenna, and an AIS 600 Class B transceiver. Navigation charts are Navionics West Europe Platinum Plus with full LED navigation lights.
Interior accommodations span three cabins and three heads. The galley features an Electrolux oven, three-zone induction cooktop, microwave, and hot-cold cockpit shower. Refrigeration includes a Vitrifrigo main fridge and deep fridge (2023), an Isotherm Clean Touch fridge (2023), and a cockpit fridge (2019). A 60-liter Quick water heater supplies hot water, and an onboard watermaker produces 240 liters per hour. Climate control includes two air-conditioning units (12,000 and 7,000 BTU) with reversible heating capability. A generator and lithium iron phosphate service battery support electrical loads. The boat carries a Lewmar electric windlass, twin Rocna anchors with 100 meters of 12-millimeter chain, liferaft for eight persons, davits with electric winch, and a Highfield 340 aluminum dinghy with a 2019 Yamaha 25 outboard.
Engine work completed in 2019 included water exchanger replacement, engine bracket work, injector inspection, seawater pump replacement, thermostat replacement, and high-pressure pump verification. Sail drive seals were replaced the same year. The bottom hull was ground and reprimed with two spray coats of epoxy primer and International antifouling in 2021. Engine hours at last documentation stood at approximately 1,420 and 1,430 respectively, with a service record and spare parts library included. Comprehensive maintenance invoices are available.
