The 97-foot Marlow Explorer is a fiberglass motor yacht built for long-range cruising, powered by twin Caterpillar C32 diesel engines delivering 3,600 horsepower total. She maintains a cruising speed of 20 knots with a top speed of 25 knots and is equipped with dual Onan 27.5 kW generators, bow and stern thrusters, and fin stabilizers for enhanced comfort and control.
The interior layout offers four staterooms and five heads, including two full-beam master staterooms. The flybridge features both upper and lower helm stations, with air conditioning added in 2022. The main deck accommodates a generous saloon, dining, and breakfast areas. Onboard systems include a SeaRecovery water maker, dual Starlink Marine antennas, and updated Garmin electronics with redundant navigation backbones. The galley is outfitted with new Miele appliances, Sub Zero refrigeration on the flybridge, and an Isotherm stainless aft deck refrigerator.
Recent work completed in 2025 includes full engine and generator services, ceramic coating and varnish updates, complete bottom job with prop balancing, new steering ram, and updates to electric heads and control systems. The 2024 refit involved a comprehensive paint job using Awlcraft 3000 with new teak decking throughout, full running gear service with new bearings and seals, complete interior soft goods replacement, varnish work on the flybridge enclosure, and renewal of all exterior hardware. The hydraulic systems, windlasses, and strainer systems were serviced or rebuilt as part of this scope.
Tender and water sports equipment include a 2023 Axis 4.2 inflatable tender with 60-horsepower Yamaha outboard, furnished under warranty with custom trailer and removable chocks.
