2011 Marlow Explorer 70E

This 2011 Marlow Explorer 70E is a composite-hulled trawler built for extended cruising and coastal exploration. Twin Caterpillar C-18 diesel engines producing 1015 horsepower each deliver economical operation at 8–10 knots and comfortable cruising at 20 knots, with a maximum speed of 25 knots. The semi-enclosed flybridge offers excellent sightlines and weather protection, with vinyl side panels that secure when conditions warrant. Cross ventilation and air conditioning throughout make warm-weather cruising comfortable.

The interior accommodates cruising couples and guests across four staterooms, each with private en-suite heads. The galley features upgraded appliances and granite countertops, positioned as the central hub of the living space. The main salon provides a welcoming gathering area, supported by generous storage throughout for extended voyages.

In 2019, the Yacht Controller was upgraded to facilitate precise maneuvering and docking in varying sea states. The boat is designed to handle both open-water crossings and protected bays and waterways with confidence and seaworthiness.
