The 2011 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 27-foot fiberglass cruiser built for Pacific Northwest waters and built to handle serious cruising. Powered by a Yanmar 180-horsepower diesel engine with just over 1,000 hours, it cruises at 10 to 14 knots and reaches a top speed of 21 knots. The boat is fitted with bow and stern thrusters for maneuverability, hydraulic steering with trim tabs, and an electric Lewmar windlass. A fully enclosed aft cockpit, swim step with dinghy davit system, and boarding ladder complete the outdoor layout.
Below deck, the R-27 sleeps four across two cabins: a private V-berth forward and guest accommodations with a dinette that converts to a berth. The galley is equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and hot and cold pressure water. Heating throughout keeps the interior comfortable in cooler seasons. The head features a shower, and an inverter supports 110-volt conveniences including a flatscreen television.
Navigation and entertainment are handled by a Garmin suite and Fusion stereo system. Interior windows and overhead hatches are dressed with drapes and sun shades. The boat comes with a Mercury inflatable dinghy and outboard motor. The engine has been well maintained and the boat is described as run-ready.
