2011 Sabre 40 Sedan

The 2011 Sabre 40 Sedan is a fiberglass downeast cruiser powered by twin Cummins QSB 5.9-liter diesel engines producing 380 horsepower each, fitted with CMD Zeus 3500 pod drives and integrated trim tabs. The modified deep-V planing hull carries a 14-foot beam and features vacuum-infused biaxial E-glass construction with Airex foam core, a molded teak swim platform, and a PVC rub rail with stainless steel cap. The yacht's deck is outfitted with a 1¼-inch diameter stainless steel perimeter rail, electric windlass, and six opening ports, along with three Lewmar hatches. A hardtop provides weather protection over the helm station, which includes Cummins electronic controls, a Ritchie compass, and helm seats with tilt steering.

Interior accommodations comprise a forward stateroom with island berth and cherry hull ceilings, a second stateroom with convertible dinette, a full head with circular shower, and a mid-level galley fitted with a two-drawer refrigerator, freezer drawer, electric cooktop, and convection microwave. The main salon features an L-shaped settee to port, a folding table that converts to coffee height, and an entertainment unit with a 19-inch television. Throughout the interior, teak and holly sole flooring, varnished cherry cabinetry, and sound-deadening soft headliners create the finish.

Recent work completed in 2024 and 2025 includes new teak on the swim platform and cockpit, pods fully serviced, exterior varnish applied, hull buffed and waxed, a 1000-hour engine service, and fresh bottom paint. Additional equipment includes a 9-kilowatt Onan generator, Esbar diesel heating with three zones of reverse cycle heating and air conditioning, Groco macerating sea strainers, and a tender with a new Mercury 7.5-horsepower electric outboard carried on a Weaver davit system. The hull received Awlgrip paint in 2018.
