The 2011 VanDutch 40 is an open motor yacht built on a fiberglass hull with the minimalist design that defines the VanDutch brand. Twin Yanmar diesel engines deliver 960 horsepower, making this a capable platform for coastal cruising and day boating. The boat's clean lines and open layout create an airy entertaining space suited to anchoring and socializing.
The single cabin accommodates overnight guests, with one head. The yacht is equipped with air conditioning, bow and stern thrusters, and a Raymarine Axiom 12 navigation system. A Fusion sound system and full upholstery complete the interior experience.
Recent work has been substantial. New transmissions, seawater pumps, exhaust system, and turbochargers were installed in 2025 and 2026. The stern thruster, windlass, and engine controls were replaced or refurbished between 2023 and 2024. Oil and water heat exchangers, gearbox heat exchangers, propeller shafts, cutless bearings, and the battery charger have all been serviced or replaced as part of ongoing maintenance. The propeller shafts were replaced in 2021. Winter covers are included.
