The Dixon 100 is a 98-foot composite sailing yacht built by Yachting Developments in 2011. Designed by Dixon Yacht Design for extended world cruising, she combines a lightweight composite construction with a 42.7-meter carbon fibre rig and continuous carbon rigging, delivering a sail area of 4,876 square feet. A single Scania diesel engine of 444 horsepower provides auxiliary power, with a cruising speed of 10 knots and maximum speed of 12 knots.
The accommodation plan reflects a luxury interior conceived by Rhodes Young. The main living spaces comprise an upper and lower saloon flowing together, anchored by an elevated pilothouse offering panoramic visibility. The owner's suite occupies the full beam aft with private deck access, while two generous guest cabins and dedicated crew quarters forward of the galley provide space for a crew of four. Five heads serve the five-cabin layout.
The hull is built from post-cured epoxy with a composite sandwich of E-glass, carbon, and Kevlar, reinforced with high-strength foam. This construction delivers a weight saving of approximately 25-30 percent compared to aluminium. The yacht meets Germanischer Lloyd and MCA classification standards.
