The 2012 Azimut 116 is a fiberglass motor yacht built to the Grande platform, measuring 116 feet with a 26-foot beam. Twin MTU 16V 2000 diesel engines producing 4,000 total horsepower drive the yacht to a cruising speed of 22–23 knots and a top speed of around 25 knots. The planing hull design supports efficient coastal cruising and extended offshore passages.
The interior features a five-stateroom layout accommodating ten or more guests. The owner's suite occupies the main deck with a full-beam layout, king berth, and panoramic windows overlooking the water. Below deck sit three queen staterooms and one twin cabin with a pullman berth, each with private ensuite bathrooms. The main salon is open and light-filled with formal dining forward and seamless flow to exterior spaces.
Outdoor areas emphasize entertaining and relaxation. The flybridge includes a jacuzzi, full-service bar, and generous seating with a shaded dining zone. The aft deck provides additional dining space with direct access to the main salon. A bow lounge offers private seating, while the beach club features a hydraulic swim platform and tender garage for water access and storage. Zero-speed stabilizers provide comfort both underway and at anchor.
A full refit was completed in 2020. The yacht combines superyacht volume and Italian design with practical performance and accommodation suited for cruising, entertaining, or private family use.
