This 2012 Carolina Skiff JVX-16 is a 15.8-foot open fishing boat built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a 2020 Yamaha 50-horsepower four-stroke engine with 120 hours of running time. The boat is equipped for serious fishing with a Minn-Kota Ulterra 24-volt saltwater trolling motor featuring auto-deploy and a removable foot pedal, a livewell with bubbler, and ten rod holders—six permanent and four removable. Garmin side-scanning sonar rounds out the primary fishing electronics.

The layout centers on a foldable bench seat with forward and aft-facing configurations and a removable swivel chair, with a large cooler integrated under the main bench and extensive storage throughout. An onboard charger supports both trolling motor batteries. Navigation lights are installed.
