The 2012 Chaparral 287 SSX is a 29-foot fiberglass bowrider built for both day cruising and extended water adventures. Powered by a single 380-horsepower Mercruiser engine, it reaches speeds up to 48 knots and cruises at 32 knots. The Extended V-Plane hull design balances performance with stability across a range of conditions.

The cockpit layout centers on a U-shaped seating arrangement that opens up the interior space. The bow accommodates 5 to 6 adults, while the stern berth can sleep three.
