The 2012 Cobalt 200 is a 20-foot fiberglass runabout built to Cobalt's established construction standards. Power comes from a single 225-horsepower Volvo V6 gasoline engine, capable of a top speed of 50 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots. The boat features fully digital instrumentation and a walk-through transom entry with an integrated water-level swim platform.
The cockpit is designed for both socializing and practical storage. A multiple-use sunpad forward includes storage beneath it for water sports equipment, while additional stowage sits behind the passenger seating and forward of the windshield for lines and gear. The boat accommodates up to 13 people total.
Interior finishes throughout reflect Cobalt's upholstery standards, with hand-sewn and double-welted seating that extends from the wraparound bow to a chaise lounge at the stern. The dashboard layout is open and sporty in design. The sculpted hull design supports both the boat's performance envelope and its overall aesthetic.
