2012 Delphia —
About This Yacht
The Delphia 47 is a 47-foot fiberglass sailing yacht designed for serious ocean passage-making. Built in 2012, the boat combines a responsive helm with exceptional stability in open water and easy handling in confined spaces. The hull employs advanced construction using vacuum infusion technology, creating a structure that is both light and strong. Power comes from a diesel engine.
The interior is arranged with an emphasis on comfort and livability over extended voyages. The saloon is bright and spacious, with large side windows flooding the cabin with natural light. Two separate refrigerators in the galley support extended cruising, and berths are arranged conveniently throughout. A teak cockpit deck adds to the traditional aesthetic. Dual steering positions allow for flexible watch-keeping arrangements, and the self-tacking jib paired with a self-furling mainsail enable single-handed or two-person operation.
The boat includes replacement North Sails and comes with a 2024 RIB 270 Gala inflatable tender equipped with an outboard motor. The yacht was sailed exclusively in freshwater by its original owner and is stored in a heated shed during the off-season.
