2012 Formula 400 Super Sport

This 40-foot Formula cruiser runs two Mercury Racing engines producing 1,050 horsepower total, with trim tabs for stability and control. The boat has logged only 500 engine hours and 40 hours on the generator, with the first 300 hours run in freshwater. Maximum speed reaches 53.88 knots, and she cruises comfortably at 33.89 knots.

The open cockpit features a C-shaped settee with table and entertainment cabinet housing a sink, refrigerator, insulated cooler, and waste receptacle. The helm station to starboard includes a low-profile design for sightlines, Raymarine E-120 multifunction display, depth and speed instruments, VHF radio, and stereo controls. A mate's seat sits to port, and a molded-step opening in the center windshield provides safe access to the forward deck.

Below, the galley to port is equipped with a large refrigerator-freezer, electric cooktop, microwave, sink, and ample storage. The sleeping area to starboard includes a television, hanging closet, and reading lights. A sizable head with shower and storage sits forward of the sleeping quarters. A convertible settee forward serves as wrap-around seating or converts to a sleeping berth.

Recent maintenance includes a 2023 Hardin Marine Seaward exhaust system with new manifolds and risers, and an overhauled engine top end. In 2024, the generator underwent major overhaul with rebuild and repainting, new transom plates and steering tie bar were installed, and the engine hatch insulation was replaced. High and dry storage has been maintained throughout.
