2012 Formula 45 Yacht

The 2012 Formula 45 Yacht is a fiberglass cruiser built around twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 870 horsepower. The boat delivers a cruising speed of 22.5 knots with a maximum speed of 27.8 knots. Recent mechanical attention includes new IPS pod drives with warranty, newly replaced turbochargers, and a 1,000-hour service completed in March 2026. The helm features joystick control for ease of operation.

The layout spans two cabins and two heads, with an open-plan interior centered on a U-shaped leather settee in the salon, removable dining stools, and a full galley equipped with refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave. The salon connects to an extended swim platform with a hydraulic dinghy lift. A power sunroof above the helm deck brings natural light into the upper level, and a walk-through windshield provides access forward to the bow.

Exterior amenities include bridge-deck air conditioning, an integrated outdoor galley and wet bar, Flexiteak decking in the cockpit, and an aft platform lift for system access. The interior features a Ralph Lauren design package with coordinated fabrics and finishes throughout.

The boat is equipped with four 100-watt solar panels wired in series, a 150-amp Victron MPPT solar controller, an inverter, and Starlink for connectivity at anchor. These systems support extended cruising and reduced reliance on the generator.
