This 2012 Lagoon 450 is a 45-foot fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising and comfortable living aboard. Powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 114 horsepower each, the boat was re-engined in 2024 with the new powerplant now under 500 hours. The hull underwent sandblasting treatment, and the structure received Lagoon-certified bulkhead reinforcement in 2022.
The layout includes four staterooms and four heads, arranged across the catamaran's 25.75-foot beam to maximize interior space and privacy. An optional flybridge hardtop provides additional outdoor shelter, and an optional teak aft deck extends the entertaining areas. Climate control spans five zones with 2024 service, and the boat offers dual AC voltage (120/60 and 240/50) for worldwide use. A washer and dryer are installed, along with a 11.5-kilowatt generator rated at 1600 hours.
Recent systems upgrades include 1.65 kilowatts of solar panels paired with Victron 990-amp-hour lithium iron phosphate batteries and integrated battery management. Navigation relies on Raymarine 12 Axiom electronics, with internet connectivity via Starlink, Iridium Go, and a Digital Yacht Xtreme 4G cell extender. Additional equipment includes a Rainman water maker, Fusion and Bose audio, LED lighting throughout, main and genoa sails from 2022, underwater lights, a life raft, and a Highfield 360 center console tender with a 20-horsepower Tohatsu outboard.
