The 2012 Lagoon 500 is a 51-foot fiberglass catamaran with a 28-foot beam, designed by Van Peteghem & Lauriot Prévost. She is powered by twin 75 hp Yanmar diesel engines with saildrives and equipped with a 13.3 kW generator. The boat carries 240 gallons of fuel and 240 gallons of freshwater across twin aluminum and plastic tanks. An 8.5-foot AB inflatable tender with a 15 hp outboard motor is included.
The accommodation layout provides four queen staterooms, each with its own head. The owner's suite occupies two-thirds of the starboard hull and includes a large head with a sit-down shower and a private lounge area. Two stern cabins feature dry heads with enclosed showers and memory foam toppers. The galley is open to the saloon with a four-burner stove, oven, microwave, dual freezers and refrigerators, water maker, and full cooking equipment. Additional amenities include a Samsung washing machine, Starlink connectivity, a 32-inch TV, and air conditioning throughout.
Recent upgrades include new deck surfaces, new standing rigging, and a complete Doyle sail inventory with main, genoa, and code 0 sails. A new hard-top bimini on the flybridge is fully enclosed by clear drop-downs. All six air-conditioning units have been serviced, and new electric toilets are fitted in every cabin. The electrical system features 12 new AGM house batteries, 2,010 watts of solar panels with controllers, dual battery chargers, and Mastervolt remote monitoring. Navigation electronics include dual Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro 12-inch plotters, VHF, AIS, Quantum 2 radar, autopilot, and a Raymarine wind instrument. Five electric winches—three Harken 60s and two smaller models—were recently serviced with new gearboxes and foot switches. A new life raft was fitted in June 2025. The ground tackle includes a new 55 kg Rocna anchor with galvanized chain.
