The 2012 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV is a 23-foot fiberglass wake boat built on Malibu's Wake Plus hull design. Powered by a single 350-horsepower gasoline engine, it delivers the consistent, scalable wakes and surf waves that define the Wakesetter line. The hull balances displacement and efficiency, working with Malibu's Launch System ballast to produce well-shaped wakes with minimal adjustment needed across different rider preferences. An optional Power Wedge hydrofoil system adds virtual ballast for further wave customization and precise control over wake size and transition.

The cockpit is laid out with deep, wraparound seating and premium materials, plus integrated storage throughout. An Illusion G3 tower provides a rigid platform for tow sports and accessory mounting. The boat is 8.5 feet in beam and carries the integrated control approach Malibu developed during this period—Malibu Touch Command centralizes ballast, speed control, and key onboard systems through a single interface.
