2012 Norseman 500 c

This 2012 Norseman 500 C is a semi-displacement cruising trawler built around twin Cummins QSC 480 hp diesel engines fitted with Zeus POD drives. The hull delivers economy at cruise speeds of 12–15 knots while capable of reaching 23 knots at full throttle, making it well suited to extended passage-making. The boat is outfitted with an Onan generator, Raymarine electronics suite, zoned air conditioning, 12 and 24 volt electrical systems, automatic engine room fire suppression, and a watermaker.

The open flybridge layout offers commanding sightlines and space for crew while underway. A hydraulic boarding platform and tender stowage above deck keep the main cockpit clear for entertaining. Below, three cabins provide accommodation with two separate heads and showers inside, plus an external cockpit shower. The hot water cylinder was replaced at the start of 2025 with a unit running on both electric and heat exchange power.

At 52 feet long with a 15-foot beam, the boat presents a balanced profile suited to extended cruising in varied waters.
