2012 Sea Ray 220 Sundeck

The 220 Sundeck is a 22-foot fiberglass runabout built around a spacious open layout with distinct social zones. A wraparound windshield of tempered, tinted glass and a fiberglass bow block-off door minimize wind and spray in the cockpit while underway. Forward, two deep bow lounges with integral armrests and cup holders provide comfortable seating, and their hinged construction grants access to port and starboard storage. The lounges are shaped for safe reclining and ideal for those who want open-air exposure while cruising.

The helm features swiveling, sliding bucket seats with flip-up bolsters for driver and passenger, along with a soft-touch keyless dash, chrome-bezel gauges, and lighted switches. Power steering with a tilt wheel and an integrated Vessel Control System manages standard SmartCraft functions and a Clarion stereo with CD player, four speakers, and MP3 port. A smooth throttle and shift mechanism connects to the single standard 5.0-liter MerCruiser MPI Bravo III sterndrive producing 260 horsepower, fitted with a stainless-steel propeller and remote oil filter. An optional fuel-injected 350 Magnum MPI Alpha I at 300 horsepower is available.

The cockpit layout centers on an L-shaped bench to starboard with a dedicated cooler storage area nearby. An in-floor storage compartment with a locking hatch and vinyl matting protects gear and water toys. An acrylic door accesses the swim platform, where an aft-facing bench overlooks the water. The port section of this bench hinges upward to reveal a large padded storage locker for skis and wakeboards. A lockable fiberglass head compartment in the port console provides onboard facilities. The hull sits on a 21-degree deadrise, delivering composed handling across varied water conditions.
