The 2012 Solaris 48 is a well-maintained sailing yacht built in fiberglass with a 48-foot length and 14-foot beam. Powered by a single 75-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine with approximately 1,700 hours of use, the boat features a white-painted aluminum mast, carbon Park Avenue boom, and rod rigging. The sails are Millenium Tech carbon one-piece design with Code Zero, upgraded in 2023. The hull carries teak on the side decks, coach roof, and bathing platform, while the topsides are grey painted.
The interior features an oak layout with three double cabins and two electric heads. The saloon includes a fixed oak table with box seating, and the galley is equipped with white Coriansteel worktops and two electric refrigerators. The yacht carries 500 liters of fresh water and 400 liters of fuel, with holding tanks for waste.
Electrical systems include a generator installed in 2019, air conditioning added to the aft and owner cabins in 2018, and a 540-ampere-hour battery bank. A bow thruster, Webasto heating, and a 40-liter hot water boiler support cruising comfort. Full Raymarine electronics are fitted, including an autopilot, radar, AIS transponder, GPS, and VHF radio. Electric Harken winches, roller furling, and Code Zero furler equipment support sail handling.
Additional features include a Highfield dinghy with 6-horsepower Honda outboard, liferaft, sprayhood, bimini covers, gangway, and lazy jacks. The propeller was replaced in 2017. The yacht holds CE and RINA certification for Category A Open Sea operation.
