The X-65 is a 66-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built by X-Yachts in 2012. The design draws on X-Yachts' heritage and combines sleek proportions with practical cruising performance. The hull measures 17.6 feet across the beam. Control lines and sheets run beneath the deck, preserving clean lines on deck. Navigation, autopilot, and sailing controls are mounted at the pedestal for easy access.
The accommodation plan includes a forward cabin with an integrated office area, two guest cabins, and substantial storage throughout. A tender garage at the stern holds a 3.5-meter Highfield Rib aluminium tender, a feature uncommon on yachts of this size.
The boat carries a carbon mast and furler boom, electrical winches, and a fresh set of Quantum Sails Fusion M6 sails from 2025. Power and systems are comprehensive: Li-Ion batteries, a 15-kilowatt generator, watermaker, bow and stern thrusters, a B&G navigation system with complete autopilot redundancy, and an Opacmare gangway. The yacht has been customized to suit the owner's needs. Only six X-65s were built in total.
