The 2012 Yellowfin 39 is a center console built on a fiberglass hull, powered by a single Suzuki 350 hp engine. The boat was repowered in September 2025 with triple Suzuki 350 engines equipped with Optimus power steering and joystick controls. With this configuration, the boat achieves approximately 1.0 miles per gallon at cruise, planes on two motors, and reaches low 40 mph speeds in that mode. The engines carry a warranty through 2030 and have approximately 100 hours of running time.
Navigation and communication systems include dual Simrad X Seatronx SRT-14 displays, a Simrad controller, Simrad autopilot, Simrad open array radar, and a Simrad BSM-2 sonar module with 275LH and sidescan transducers. A Furuno VHF radio is installed. Entertainment is provided by a Fusion Apollo head unit paired with JL Audio speakers and subwoofers. A light bar is mounted on deck.
Fishing and operational features include outrigger mounts, two electric reel plugs, a windlass anchor system, under-gunnel lighting, and fresh and raw water wash downs with sink. The transom incorporates a live-well and tuna tube. The boat holds 564 gallons of fuel across three tanks. Custom upholstery was installed in September 2025. A gapped tower with full controls is included but currently removed from the boat and can be reinstalled; it comes equipped with a Simrad 9-inch display, engine controls, and two JL speakers.
