2013 Back Cove 37

The 2013 Back Cove 37 is a 42-foot fiberglass cruising yacht built around Downeast styling and proven performance. Powered by a single Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel engine rated at 600 horsepower, she combines efficient cruising range with straightforward single-engine maintenance. The hull design balances lightweight construction with stability, and the boat includes a self-bailing cockpit, keel, and prop pockets suited to varied waters.

The interior is finished in cherry wood with natural light throughout. The master stateroom features an island queen berth with cedar-lined storage. A separate guest stateroom has a wide double berth and built-in cabinetry. The saloon offers wraparound seating with a convertible L-settee and adjustable table. The oversized head includes a separate shower stall. Climate control is handled by reverse-cycle heating and air conditioning. The galley is equipped with an AC/DC drawer-style fridge/freezer, convection microwave, surface-mount cooktop, and solid-surface countertops.

The boat is outfitted for extended cruising and year-round operation. Electrical systems include dual 30-amp shore power, AGM battery banks, and a 50-amp charger. An electric windlass, bow and stern thrusters with wireless remote control, and an electric engine hatch support single-handed operation. A Fusion sound system with subwoofer and a hard-mounted Starlink high-speed internet dish are installed. Additional equipment includes a swim platform with hot and cold shower, custom 316L stainless bow rail, molded bow sprit, multiple Lewmar hatches and opening portlights, and a transom door. A portable dinghy and 4 HP Yamaha outboard are included, along with a Fireboy offshore safety system.
