The 2013 Beneteau Oceanis 45 is a balanced cruising sailboat built on a stable, seaworthy fiberglass hull. At 46 feet long with a 15-foot beam, she combines efficient sailing performance with comfortable long-range cruising capability. Power comes from a Yanmar diesel engine of 54 horsepower with under 600 hours of use, paired with a three-blade folding propeller and bow thruster for easy maneuvering.
Below deck, the yacht offers three staterooms with flexible sleeping arrangements. The forward owner's cabin features an island bed, hanging lockers, and large hull ports. Two aft cabins provide standing headroom and private head access; one includes an en-suite. The main salon seats six at a full dinette that converts to a double berth, with an opposite settee that doubles as a navigation station. Both heads have enclosed shower compartments. Throughout the interior, extensive ports and coachroofhouse windows provide natural light, while parquet flooring and leather-upholstered cushions finish the spaces. The galley includes a three-burner stove with oven, dual stainless sinks, refrigerator, separate freezer box, and ample counter and locker storage.
The cockpit features dual helm stations with leather-covered steering wheels, Harken three-speed winches at each position, and excellent forward sightlines. An electrically lowering transom platform aids dock and dinghy access. The canvas package—full dodger, large bimini, and acrylic side panels—is in very good condition. A cockpit arch supports the sails while keeping lines clear of the working area. Additional safety features include installed jack lines and a newly added stainless rail aft of the cockpit table.
The rig uses in-mast roller furling for the mainsail and a reduced-profile genoa, complemented by a like-new Code 0 furling gennaker, all suited to shorthanded sailing. Running rigging leads aft to the cockpit with self-tailing winches and line clutches for control. Stainless steel standing rigging was inspected in 2022, as was the overall mast and rigging. Electronics include integrated Simrad systems at both helms with dual chartplotters, radar, autopilot, VHF, and integrated wind and depth instruments. Power management features 12-volt house and starter batteries with solar panels, an inverter with battery monitor, and a 25-amp charger. Fresh water capacity is 87 gallons with pressurized delivery, and the yacht carries separate black water holding tanks for each head.
