2013 Cutwater C-28

The 2013 Cutwater 28 C is a single-engine diesel cruiser built on a fiberglass hull measuring 28 feet with an 8.5-foot beam. Powered by a Volvo Penta D4 260 diesel engine with 788 hours, it combines efficient mid-range cruising capability with the torque and range typical of the platform. The boat is equipped with bow and stern thrusters, trim tabs, a Phasor 4.5kw generator, Garmin radar with a new dome installed in 2023, Garmin chartplotter with updated mapping, autopilot, and an NMEA network displaying live engine data. A 2017 EZ Loader triple-axle trailerable trailer is available separately.

The layout accommodates a cruising couple with a forward V-berth stateroom, convertible dinette, generous cockpit seating, and a self-bailing cockpit with transom platform and boarding ladder. Interior systems include reverse-cycle air conditioning and heat, a 3500W inverter, solar charging, 12V refrigeration, two-burner cooktop, convection oven, water heater, and a pump-out head with overboard discharge for offshore use.

Over the past 12 months, the owner invested approximately $19,000 in mechanical updates: the engine received service and new fuel filters, impeller, internal anodes, and multiport strainer roughly 50 hours ago. New plumbing and seacocks were installed, bottom paint applied in 2025, and the charging system, batteries, battery charger, convection oven, and bilge heater were all replaced. The generator runs 377 hours and carries no known immediate service backlog.
