The Delta 40 Walk Around is a fiberglass cruiser built for serious coastal and offshore work. Powered by twin Volvo diesel inboards producing 740 horsepower, she reaches 40 knots at top speed and cruises comfortably at 28 knots. The hull design delivers the seakeeping qualities needed for open-water passages, and the walk-around configuration provides safe access to the foredeck and unobstructed sightlines throughout the boat.
Three cabins and one head accommodate cruising crews or entertaining guests. The open layout works equally well for day trips on the bay, longer coastal runs, or anchoring with friends. Beam of 11.67 feet gives the interior genuine spaciousness for a 40-foot boat.
Recent maintenance has focused on the drivetrain and core systems. Heat exchangers and aftercoolers were serviced in 2024, along with new batteries. The Volvo drives themselves have received recent attention. The boat carries a bow thruster with remote control for maneuvering in tight quarters. A Raymarine touchscreen chart plotter provides modern navigation capability. The exterior received a buff and wax in April 2026.
