2013 Glacier Bay 2740 Dual Console

This 27-foot fiberglass catamaran combines the stability and seakindliness of a displacement hull with the versatility needed for both offshore fishing and family cruising. Powered by twin Yamaha 150-horsepower engines running at approximately 746 hours, the boat features a hardtop with full Isinglass enclosure and a sturdy bow platform that converts into a full seating lounge area. Recent bottom paint application using premium epoxy primer and antifouling coating has improved performance noticeably.

The boat is well-equipped for navigation and communication, with a Garmin GPSmap 1040xs chartplotter paired with a GT21 transducer, a Standard Horizon VHF radio, and a Fusion stereo system with four marine speakers. Power management includes two engine batteries, one house battery, a ProMariner triple-bank onboard charger, and full shore-power capability. Dual 90-gallon fuel tanks provide a total capacity of 180 gallons.

Accommodations include a galley sink with fresh water and extensive under-console storage, a fully enclosed marine head with a 15-gallon holding tank and pump-out capability, and a 20-gallon fresh water tank. A transom shower and raw-water washdown system are fitted for rinsing. The deck features an LED light bar and multi-color select lighting throughout.

For fishing, the boat is outfitted with dual Grand Slam TACO Marine outriggers, an Attwood T-500 Tsunami livewell with raw-water intake, and rod storage for six rods on the hardtop. Ground tackle includes an anchor windlass with helm and bow controls, a Delta anchor, and a secondary anchor. A 2018 Magic Tilt three-axle aluminum trailer with electric-over-hydraulic brakes and hydrastar braking is included.
