The 2013 Intrepid 400 Cuddy is a 40-foot center console powered by triple Mercury 400 engines installed in 2020, with warranty coverage remaining on the power plant. The boat performs at a cruising speed of 40 knots and tops out near 60 knots. A complete refit was performed in 2020, bringing the systems and finishes throughout the boat to current standards.
Navigation and electronics include dual Garmin multifunction displays, Garmin HD radar, FLIR thermal imaging, and Garmin autopilot. An ACR searchlight, Fusion stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, and JL Audio speakers with subwoofers and amplifiers round out the technology package. Additional features include Bennett trim tabs, an electric helm seat, bow thruster, windlass, and integrated charging system.
The cabin layout centers on a custom oversized rear bench and forward sunpad. Interior accommodations comprise a head, galley equipped with microwave, stovetop, and refrigerator, and air conditioning throughout. The boat includes a Westerbeke generator, flat-screen television, and custom retractable sunroof. A diver door provides water access. The gray metallic hull is fitted with new double diamond-stitch upholstery and Deckit flooring, while the cabin features new flooring throughout. Extra rod holders and multiple storage solutions support active fishing and cruising use.
