The 2013 Kadey-Krogen 44 is a fiberglass trawler built on the Advanced Ergonomic platform, featuring the expanded beam that defines the Widebody design. Power comes from a single John Deere diesel engine rated at 158 hp, delivering a cruising speed of 8 knots and a top speed of 9 knots. The boat has completed extended cruising including a trip to the Bahamas and multiple seasons in Maine waters.

The layout includes an expanded galley fitted with a Viking gas stove, LED lighting throughout, and improved engine room access. The flybridge features molded steps and is fully redesigned, while the cockpit offers full walk-through boarding gates for convenient access between ports.
