This 2013 Lagoon 39 is a fiberglass catamaran built for serious cruising. At nearly 39 feet with a 22-foot beam, the design delivers the stability and comfort typical of the platform. Twin 58-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines provide reliable power, backed by modern navigation electronics including a 12-inch Raymarine chartplotter, radar, and AIS. Communication gear includes a Garmin InReach system for offshore passages.
The interior layout offers four double cabins and two bathrooms, configured for both comfortable cruising and extended liveaboard use. Recent additions to the power and water systems include a 1720-watt solar array with individual MPPT controllers, a 640-amp-hour battery bank, a 2-kilowatt Victron inverter, and a Schenker Zen 30 watermaker. A Honda 2.2-kilowatt generator provides supplementary charging capability.
The sail plan has been thoughtfully developed for varied conditions. The mainsail and genoa date from 2020 and remain serviceable, while a Code D gennaker added in 2023 and a twin headsail configuration installed in 2024 expand performance options. Running rigging has been upgraded to Dyneema, with the mainsail halyard, first reef line, and lazy bag recently refreshed or renewed.
Engine maintenance has been thorough, including exhaust elbow replacement, diaphragm and seal work, heat exchanger servicing, and new water pump installation across the period 2022–2025. Routine items—belts, saildrive seals, zincs, impellers, filters, and oils—are current. Antifouling is up to date. Deck equipment includes a 2.7-meter Whaly tender with a Mercury 9.9-horsepower outboard, two EPIRBs, a 10-person liferaft, and various cruising gear.
