2013 Sabre 48 Salon Express

The 2013 Sabre 48 Salon Express is a 48-foot downeast cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with a contemporary vee-hull design. Twin Cummins 500 hp diesel engines with Zeus pod drives deliver a cruising speed of 27 knots and a top speed exceeding 32 knots. The engines show 1,167 hours of operation. Joystick control and Zeus pod drives provide precision handling, while trim tabs and a Skyhook system aid maneuvering and station-keeping.

The main salon features a raised cockpit sole that opens to comfortable seating for entertaining. A raised settee to port of the helm offers good sightlines. The galley is equipped with a Cuisinart microwave and Vitrifrigo refrigerator. Accommodations include two cabins and two heads below deck. The boat carries a Splendide washer and dryer combo for extended cruising and a Beam built-in vacuum cleaner for maintenance. An 11 kw Cummins Onan generator powers the yacht's systems; the generator shows 2,218 hours.

Navigation and entertainment systems include two Garmin GPS Map 7215 units and a Fusion radio system. An aft SureShade provides shade for the outside deck area. A standard side deck door facilitates docking and deck access.

The teak flooring in the salon has been replaced. The boat operates quietly, with noise levels below 75 decibels at cruising speed.
