The 2013 Scout 225 XSF is a forward-seating center console built on Scout's Nu-V3 hull design, which emphasizes fuel efficiency and high-performance running characteristics. At 22 feet 4 inches with an 8-foot 6-inch beam, the boat is powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha engine and rides on a dual-axle trailer.

The boat features abundant seating and storage across its layout. Forward of the center console sit port and starboard seating with bolsters and full bow cushions, complemented by storage boxes beneath. The center console itself includes a cushioned helm seat, grab rail, and space configured for electronics installation. The boat is equipped with a Lowrance Fish Finder, Lowrance VHF Radio, and Infinity Bluetooth Radio. An aerated leaning post bait well is standard; the boat can be specified with an upgraded aluminum or tournament-grade bait well with tackle station and backrest.

Optional equipment includes Scout's powder-coated T-top hardtop with tempered glass enclosure, rocket launchers, and lights. The boat has been stored indoors during off-seasons and maintained on a dock lift when in the water. The dual-axle trailer has received regular maintenance and is kept in covered storage.
